13 October 2001 - Charlotte's sculpture will be an abstract form, inspired by the work of Barbara Hepworth. She's started, but it's slow and tiring to hollow out a hole right through the trunk by hand.

14 October 2001 - Technology to the rescue! A petrol-driven drill gets the hole started,
then they use an electric drill with a bit specially designed to drill out large holes.

14 October 2001 - Charlotte, Alan and Manny work at extending the hole through the trunk, and...

It's hollow!
